About this tool
Splitting takes one PDF and produces several smaller ones — either a separate file for every page, or one file per page range you specify.
Like the rest of the PDF suite, it runs in your browser, so even sensitive documents stay on your device.
How to use it
- Add a PDF file.
- Choose 'Every page separately' or 'Page ranges'.
- For ranges, type groups like 1-3, 5, 8-10 — each group becomes its own PDF.
- Click Split PDF and download the results, individually or all at once.
Examples
Common problems
- A range produced no file.
- Ranges outside the document's page count are ignored. Check the total number of pages and adjust the numbers.
