About this tool

Merging combines several PDF files into one document, keeping every page in the order you set. It is the quickest way to turn a stack of separate exports — invoices, scans, chapters — into a single file you can send or archive.

This tool merges entirely in your browser. The files are read into memory, combined and offered back for download; nothing is uploaded to a server.

How to use it

  1. Add two or more PDF files by dropping them in or browsing.
  2. Drag the arrows to reorder — the top file becomes the first pages.
  3. Click Merge PDFs.
  4. Download the combined document.

Common problems

The pages came out in the wrong order.
Order follows the list top-to-bottom. Use the up/down arrows on each file to arrange them before merging.
A password-protected PDF will not merge.
Files locked with an open password must be unlocked first. Owner-locked (permission) PDFs usually merge; open-password files do not until the password is removed.
