About this tool

ZPL has no native way to print a photograph — a logo becomes printable only after it's reduced to pure black and white and packed into a `^GF` graphic field. This is the same encoder the Label Designer uses for its own logo element, exposed as a standalone tool for when all you need is the graphic data, not a full label.

How to use it

  1. Upload a logo image.
  2. Set the target print size in millimetres and the printer's DPI.
  3. Drag the threshold slider while watching the live black/white preview — that's exactly what will print.
  4. Copy the ZPL, or download it as a .zpl file.

Examples

A 30×30mm logo at 203 dpi

A PNG logo, threshold 128
A ^GF graphic field sized for a 30×30mm print area, wrapped in a minimal ^XA…^XZ label ready to send to a printer.

Common problems

Fine detail in the logo disappears in the output.
A 1-bit-per-pixel bitmap has no greyscale — thin lines or small text in the source image can vanish entirely once thresholded. Simplify the logo (thicker strokes, higher contrast) rather than relying on the threshold slider alone to preserve detail it fundamentally can't.
